Andrew Stroud in concert
Andrew Stroud began studying classical guitar at the age of six and since that time has dedicated his life to music. He began studying with his father while living in Corsham, England. By the time he left the U.K. for the U.S. at the age of 10, he had already given his first public recitals (in Corsham and Swindon) and had passed his Royal Conservatory exams with honors. He has taught at Stetson University’s Community School for the Arts, at Florida State University, and as a guest of schools throughout Florida. He has published and recorded for the Hands On Teaching method, and has published articles in Soundboard magazine. Stroud is a doctoral candidate at the Florida State University.
