2013 Chinese New Year Celebration

This Chinese New Year is the Year of Snake. Year of the Snake symbolizes wisdom and good business. People born in the year of the Snake are intelligent, insightful, and influential. The year would begin with many worries but end up with positive resolves.

SACA and CAAT, Tampa Bay Chinese associations, will be hosting the 2013 Chinese New Year Celebration at Largo Central Park, 101 Central Park Drive, Largo, FL 33771 on Saturday, February 2, 2013, 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Open to public. Free admission. Seating is limited; lawn chairs are recommended.

First 200 children will receive the traditional Chinese ‘Red Envelope’ as a gift. There will be kids games, arts, crafts, food and entertainment for all to experience. There will also be on stage performances including dragon dance, lion dance, traditional folk dance, kung fu demonstration, and Chinese instruments. Mini-Train rides will also be open.
