Max Bruch’s First Violin Concerto had quite the evolution, having first been completed and performed in 1866, but withdrawn by the composer out of sheer dissatisfaction. Skyway Tanker Fire

On Tuesday, July 11th, a diesel tanker truck blew out a tire and caught fire near the top of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in the southbound lanes. The driver walked away.

The incident snarled traffic for hours and left communities talking about transportation alternatives in the event of other problems on the bridge.
