This position serves as a Major Gifts Officer for WUSF Public Broadcasting and is responsible for planning and implementing the cultivation and solicitation of major and planned gifts to WUSF and who have interest in the future of WUSF and the communities it serves. This position is also responsible for securing leadership-level gifts of $10,000 or greater as well as the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of planned giving prospects. The Major Gifts Officer will meet or exceed annual fundraising goals. This position will be based out of the Tampa USF campus. Desired candidate will have well established ties with the Tampa Bay community.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Liberal arts or business and five years experience in fundraising or Master’s degree, preferably an MBA or Marketing major and three years experience.
Preferred Qualifications: CFRE Certification
