The one-room school house next to the University of Tampa's Plant Hall, the former Tampa Bay HotelWUSF Public Broadcasting conducts an Ascertainment Survey each year to find out what you think are the most critical issues facing our community. We survey community leaders, elected officials, professionals and listeners and viewers like you.

Participants in the 2006 survey identified these top five critical issues:

  1. Education
  2. Transportation
  3. Growth Management
  4. Environment
  5. Housing & Health Care (tied for 5th place)

Other issues of concern included: government, the economy, public safety and quality of life.

WUSF Public Broadcasting helps you be more involved and better informed about your community.

All of our platforms -- WUSF TV, WUSF 89.7, WUSF 89.7², the WUSF Radio Reading Service and www.wusf.org -- work together toward the same goal. We're here for you 24-7, as a trustworthy source for news, in-depth reporting, educational programming, arts, culture and the finest in jazz and classical music.
