WUSF Partners Board

The WUSF Partners Board serves as the chief volunteer organization for WUSF Public Broadcasting. Partners Board members advise and assist WUSF leadership to promote and achieve WUSF's mission and vision.

Mark Sena

George W. Lange, Jr.
is senior vice president and senior trust specialist for Regions Morgan Keegan Trust Company, West Florida. Prior to joining Regions Bank in 2003, George was the president and chief fiduciary officer of State Street Global Advisors, N.A., State Street Corporation's trust and investment operation in Florida. Donald Mattran
is the senior executive and managing partner at Sales Consultants of Sarasota. He and Rose Castellano founded the firm in 1987. Don's early career was in higher education. He served as dean and director at the University of Hartford, Syracuse University and Montclair State University in New Jersey.

Thomas B. Luzier

A native Sarasotan, Tom received his Juris Doctorate from the Cumberland School of Law in 1991 and was admitted to the Florida Bar the same year. He is a member of the both the Sarasota County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Read more.

Janice Buchanan

Janice Buchanan
is an academic, author and fundraising professional. Janice served notably as the director of development for the St. Petersburg College Foundation with offices in Clearwater and St. Petersburg. The Foundation serves as a direct support organization of St. Petersburg College, and supports the vision and mission of SPC.

Mark P. Famiglio

Mark P. Famiglio
is the co-founder and CEO of Copytalk, LLC
based in Sarasota. Mark has owned and restored numerous historic properties including the Crosley Estate in Manatee County. As owner of the estate, Mark arranged for USF’s acquisition of the Crosley property for its campus. Mark is married to the former Jennie Lascelle of Sarasota. Read more.

Board Responsibilities

1. To provide advice to the staff of WUSF Public Broadcasting regarding fund development, government relations and community outreach.

2. To function as an advocacy group for WUSF Public Broadcasting and, where appropriate, for the University of South Florida.

3. To help the leadership of WUSF Public Broadcasting in developing its strategic planning related to fundraising.

4. To help to strengthen relationships with members of and contributors to WUSF Public Broadcasting.

5. To provide leadership in raising funds for WUSF Public Broadcasting.

6. To assist in external/public relations as an ambassador for WUSF Public Broadcasting and in recommending communications strategies for WUSF Public Broadcasting.

7. To assist in planning and implementing events that further the mission of WUSF Public Broadcasting.

8. To provide advice on other issues as requested by the leadership of WUSF Public Broadcasting.
