D. Beatty D’Alessandro is Graybar’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  Graybar, a St. Louis based $5 billion company, is an industry-leading distributor of electrical and networking products.  With operations throughout North America, it services contractors and industrial enterprises.  As CFO, he has responsibility for the Accounting, Information Technology, Treasury, Internal Audit and Tax groups.

During Mr. D’Alessandro’s tenure as CFO, Graybar has significantly increased its revenues, net income and return to shareholders while reducing its net debt by over one-third.  He is a member of Graybar’s Board of Directors.  In addition he is a member of its Executive, Finance, Employee Benefits and Compensation Committees. 
 
As Graybar’s Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Mr. D’Alessandro led the company’s nationally recognized and award winning Information Technology department.  While in this position he had responsibility for the entire life cycle of their enterprise-wide, $100 million ERP project.

Prior to his assignment as CIO, Mr. D’Alessandro was the executive in charge of strategic planning and acquisitions at Graybar.  During this period Graybar acquired five distribution companies.

Mr. D’Alessandro’s earlier assignments with Graybar included positions in corporate finance and in business unit management.

Mr. D’Alessandro has had a number of articles published on technology's role in distribution.  He is a featured speaker on technology in the industry.  He is on the Board of UMB Bank of St. Louis as well as the Missouri chapters of Junior Achievement and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
