Linda Marcelli - Biography

Linda was a First Vice President with Merrill Lynch, and the former Director of the New York City District of Merrill Lynch. Linda joined Merrill Lynch in 1975 as a Financial Consultant in the Boston, Massachusetts, Beacon Hill Office. She assumed various sales leadership roles in that office and in 1980 became the first woman Field Manager for Merrill. In 1983, Linda was named Resident Vice President of the Forest Hills, New York Office. In 1986, she assumed leadership of the Rockefeller Center Office and in 1991 was asked to manage Merrill Lynch’s flagship Office at the Firm’s World Financial Center Headquarters. In February of 1994, Linda was named New York City District Director in Merrill Lynch’s largest District with 900 Financial Consultants, nine major branch offices, and over 760 million in revenue.

In 2001, for family reasons, Linda relocated her career to Tampa, Florida where she and her husband had maintained residence. Linda was appointed Director of the Merrill Lynch, Tampa Bay Complex, in October 2001. This Complex is comprised of the Tampa, St. Petersburg, Countryside, Clearwater and Crystal River communities, and includes 130 Financial Advisors with a total staff of 183 persons who service High Net Worth Clients and Business Owners in growing and managing their wealth.

Linda moved from the corporate world to entrepreneurship in early 2007, and is now Vice President of Lucky’s Real Tomatoes, a family-owned national company founded in 1975. Lucky’s is well- known for growing and providing flavorful vine ripened tomatoes to fine restaurants and purveyors throughout the United States. Linda served Lucky’s in an advisory capacity throughout her career at Merrill.

Mrs. Marcelli received her B.A. Degree from Ohio State University. She is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at Wharton, and the Tuck Institute at Dartmouth College.

While in New York City, Linda was named to the New York Academy of Women Achievers and featured in Fortune Magazine. She is on the Board of the Rabbi Marc H. Tanenbaum Foundation, Inc. in New York; an organization that works to foster inter-religious understanding. Locally, Linda serves as the Board Chair at Academy Prep of St. Petersburg, The USF Foundation Board, USF College of Business Advisory Board and the University Of Tampa Board Of Trustees.
