Florida Matters: “The Myths and Realities of Homelessness” (August 25, 2006)
By some estimates there are at least 20 thousand people in the Tampa Bay Area without a home on any given night. Most of them do not fit the stereotype of the drug addicted derelict. In fact, many are among the working poor and a growing number are families, or women with children.
Our panel of experts will discuss some of the root causes and investigate some possible long-term solutions. Listen now.
