In a study conducted by the USF College of Public Health, the DeSoto County Health Department and the DeSoto County School District, researchers found that a large number of county residents are still suffering the mental effects of Hurricane Charley in 2004--and there's a very close connection between parents' mental health problems and what kind of effect that has on their children.
