8:30 am America Sews with Sue Hausmann "Textures and Techniques" #2411 Guest M'Liss Rae Hawley offers special quilting techniques. Also, learn how to create textured quilt blocks and how to piece them into quilts, wall hangings and garments.

9:00 am Knit & Crochet Today "Purses" #111 Crochet designer Robyn Chachula shows how to make a "mock" cable purse and knit designer Karen Kendrick-Hands makes a colorful bulky knit purse.

8:00 am Sewing with Nancy "Serge and Sew for Babies" Part 1 #1821 Stitching layette garments using a sewing machine and a serger in tandem is Nancy's focus for this program. She shows how to set up the serger, and then outlines a sequence for serging and sewing a top or gown. She also adds serged facings and cover stitch topstitching as decorative accents.

8:30 am Quilting Arts "Embellishments and Encrustations" #103 Learn how embellishments such as beads, sequins, yarn and even metal add dimension and sparkle to your projects. Then Betty Blais creates amazing embellishments using a specialty product for appliqués, collage, and moldable leaves. Also, see how Mary Hettmansperger adds metal and embroidery to a unique wall hanging.

9:00 am Martha’s Sewing Room "Heirloom Sewing by Serger" #2808 Martha and guests Peggy Dilbone and Denise Applegate-Schober use a three-thread rolled edge serger technique to make classic looking pieces. The Sew Quick, Sew Easy projects are stitched photo mats, machine embroidered covered buttons and embroidered insertion on the Lacy Lavender Quilt.

8:00 am Sewing with Nancy "Serge and Sew for Babies" Part 2 #1822 Nancy demonstrates easy gathering techniques using both a serger and sewing machine, and then she shows hw to make ruffles with serged rolled edges and lettuce edges. She also makes receiving blankets and finishes the edges using serged wavy, stitched and scalloped methods.

8:30 am Kaye’s Quilting Friends "Dolphins through the Cubes" #1913 Any dolphin lover will want to make this quilt. The dolphin fabric is fussy-cut into large and small diamonds, which are easily joined together using Kaye's cutting and sewing technique.

9:00 am Needle Arts Studio with Shay Pendray #1713 Kathleen Sams highlights Kids' sweaters knitted in bright colors and Kristin Nicholas demonstrates how to duplicate stitch on a sweater.

8:30 am Linda MacPhee's Workshop #111 Linda and Stephen Antle go over the steps to create a chair slip cover from measuring to construction. Next, they cover a square ottoman with slip covers using fashion fabrics. Eileen Roche also demonstrates how to embroider on ribbon.

9:00 am Fons and Porter’s Love of Quilting "Quilting at Windmills with John Flynn" #1006 Guest artist John Flynn shares techniques for spiral patchwork quilt blocks and methods for special machine quilting using a special frame he engineered.

8:30 am Lap Quilting with Georgia Bonesteel "Swiss Tour from Bern to Lenk" #1109 Georgia tours premier quilt shops from coast to coast, introducing viewers to different teachers and quilting techniques at each stop.

9:00 am Quilt In A Day "Delectable Mountains" Part 3 #2304 Eleanor shows how to miniaturize the Delectable Mountain Quilt. She uses machine quilting techniques and adds a computerized label to complete the project.
