Associate Director of Development - Sarasota

Major and planned gift fundraising: This position identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards prospects for major and/or legally complex gifts from individuals, corporations, foundations or estates; oversees donor communications and serves as a liaison with appropriate WUSF and USF staff to ensure that gifts are appropriately approved and will be used in accordance with the donor's wishes and the organization's strategic objectives.

Minimum qualifications: 
This position requires Bachelor's degree and five years of experience related to community relations or development. Work experience as a development professional may substitute may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis.
Preferred qualifications: 
- Master's Degree. - A working knowledge of planned giving; fundraising experience in a university setting; knowledge of the media and/or public media industry; experience raising private funds for public media. - Knowledge of the Sarasota community's cultural, civic and professional organizations.
Salary: 
$60,000 - $72,500
