Dunedin Showcase Theater The Dunedin Showcase Theater is proud to present Angel Street by Patrick Hamilton. In this intense drama, Bella Manningham slowly sinks into madness at the hands of her husband Jack. But why? What game is he playing? And what are the strange noises upstairs? Why do the gas lamps go on and off? Will Bella discover the answers in time? Or will she be driven to tragedy? This chilling British play was called Gas Light in London when it premiered in 1938. In the 1940s, the part of Jack was made famous by a very young Vincent Price.
The show is directed by Tammy Folstad and will be performed at the Dunedin Community Center at 1920 Pinehurst Road in Dunedin. Show dates and times are October 4, 5 and 6 at 7:30 PM, and October 7 at 2:00 PM. Tickets are all $10 at the door. Tickets are available at the Dunedin Community Center. There is no assigned seating.
