Christina Humphreys: Invisible Solid
General Event Information
Tampa - QUAID is pleased to present "Invisible Solid", a solo exhibition of new work by Christina Humphreys. Visitors to the gallery will encounter a range of works, from colorful clay forms to gestural line drawings printed on fabric. “Invisible Solid” presents an artistic response to questions of objectivity and imagery in painting. Join QUAID for the opening reception of “Invisible Solid” June 14th at 7pm.
The event is free and open to the public but donations are greatly appreciated. Classes and groups are encouraged and welcomed. This exhibition will run from June 14th, through July 4th. The gallery is open Thursday 7PM-10PM, Friday through Sunday 12PM-5PM, and by appointment.
Located at 4636 N. Florida Ave in South Seminole Heights, QUAID is an artist-run project space in partnership with TEMPUS PROJECTS. The artists who run QUAID are members of the Tampa Drawers Sketch Gang. Since March of 2013 this group of eight Tampa artists has met weekly to collaborate and draw.
