Pittsburgh Symphony: Manfred Honeck - Conductor

The Pittsburgh Symphony has been heard on the radio since radio began! The first broadcasts were from Pittsburgh’s KDKA in the 1920’s. The great tradition of Pittsburgh Symphony radio broadcasts continue, starting this Saturday, as Classical WSMR is pleased to bring you this years’ season starting with a concert featuring Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto with Anne-Sophie Mutter, Bizet’s Carmen Suite, and Ravel’s Bolero. Manfred Honeck conducts the Pittsburgh Symphony this Saturday evening at 5:00 PM on Classical WSMR 89.1 and in Tampa at 103.9 fm.
