This second St. Petersburg Jazz Festival concert pays tribute to the two giants of jazz, alto saxophonist Cannonball Adderley and tenor saxophonist John Coltrane. The original concept came from paying homage to the 1959 Cannonball Adderley-John Coltrane landmark album, The Cannonball Adderley Quintet in Chicago.

This quintet features some of the finest musicians in the Tampa Bay area including Jeremy Powell - tenor saxophone, Austin Vickrey - alto saxophone, LaRue Nickelson – guitar, Alejandro Arenas – bass & Ian Goodman - drums
