Honeymoon Island is one of the most beautiful gems of Pinellas County—even the causeway that leads to it offers many varieties of birds. The park provides key habitats for our local and migrating birdlife: the Gulf shoreline, sheltered lagoons, low scrub brush, and pine woods. Presently, there is a Bald Eagle nest with two nestlings and you do not want to miss seeing the majestic adult parents in action. Join us for this 2 to 3 mile walk on sand trails. Bring your binoculars and field guides if you have them! For more information on the park go to
Fee to enter the park: $8 per vehicle with 2-8 people; $4 for single occupant vehicle.
