THE AMERICAN BOYCHOIR TO PERFORM, FEB. 1

The American Boychoir, under the musical leadership of Litton-Lodal Music Director Fernando Malvar-Ruiz, will present a concert on Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, in the Sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church, 175 Lake Hollingsworth Drive, Lakeland, at 7:30 p.m.

Experience the incomparable and electrifying voices of The American Boychoir. The concert features musical selections as diverse and dynamic as the boys themselves. The 2010 Winter Tour includes music by European composers Victoria, Desprez, Schütz, Brahms, and Fauré, with works by American composers George Gershwin and Randall Thompson as well as selections by composers from Venezuela, Brazil, Korea, and Japan.

For over 70 years, The American Boychoir has been enriching the cultural life of the nation by bringing its unique and joyful sound to people around the world. You are sure to be mesmerized by this memorable performance at First Presbyterian Church, Lakeland.

The American Boychoir concert will take place on Monday, Feb. 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church, 175 Lake Hollingsworth Drive, Lakeland, FL.
