Icare4Autism2010: The Cocktail Gala

The International Center for Autism Research and Education (Icare4autism) will hold a major happening in Tampa. The event, Icare4autism 2010: Cocktail Gala, will be held from 6pm-10pm on Thursday evening, Apr. 15.
The Gala is expected to attract approximately 3,000 attendees to the Florida Aquarium for an altruistic evening of memories. The event will feature celebrity appearances, live music and complementary wine tasting.
There will also be a luxury auction that includes an Official New Orleans Saints football helmet signed by Drew Brees; a VIP tour of Yankee Stadium, conducted by a Yankees World Series champion; U2 tickets for a Miami concert in July; and masterpiece collages of Taylor Swift, Kiefer Sutherland and the late Heath Ledger.
Most importantly, the event will raise awareness and funds for Autism Research and Education for the neurological disorder that affects 1 in 91 children, 1 in 58 boys. These numbers are up 59% since 2002. An Autism Awards Ceremony will recognize outstanding autism resource providers and an aspiring individual in the Tampa Bay area.
Icare4autism Founder and President Joshua Weinstein says, “By attending this event, the residents of the Tampa Bay area have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of 1 in 91 children.”
Tickets are now on sale through the website, www.Icare4autism.org. They can also be ordered by calling toll free (877) 877-7677. There is an early bird price of $50 per ticket until March 15. Prices go to $65 after that until April 1. Tickets purchased after April 2 are $75.
