Bonfiglio LIVE! at the Third Friday Towles Court Artwalk

Joe Bonfiglio has been in the music business for a long time. Between 1962-68 he was with The DuCaines. The Ducaines recorded a single for Atlantic Records and played at New York World’s Fair. From 1968-72 Mr. Bonfiglio was with The Providence River Swim Team (jug band). They toured New England coffee houses and opened for various acts including Sea Train, Laura Nyro, Boz Scaggs, and Paul Geremia. Bonfiglio was busiest from 1970-1976. His solo act recorded demo album for RCA and played in various NYC locales (My Father’s Place, Bitter End, Stephen Talkhouse, Bobby Vans, etc.). Bonfiglio toured colleges and opened for various acts including Jonathan Edwards, Gordon Lightfoot, Chambers Brothers, Liv Taylor, Burt Summer, The Left Banke, and Kate and Alex Taylor. Since 1976 Joe has played in various New England locales (Skunk Hollow Tavern, Canoe Club, Peter Christian’s, Tinkerbox, Lebanon Opera House, Dartmouth College, Okemo Mt., Mt. Ascutney, Salt Hill Pub, etc.) and has played a variety of benefit shows (Red Cross, Norris Cotton Cancer Center, Lion’s Club, etc.).
Joe currently has a recurring show at the Pastry Arts Café on Main St. in Sarasota, FL.
