Life and Lunch in a 12th Century Florida Indian Village

Come join us for a taste of 12th century feasting in this intriguing program about food and daily life in a 12th century Manasota Culture villiage on Tampa Bay. "Mac" Perry (McVae) discusses early Florida plant foods and preparation, foods introduced from the Old World, and the role of the villiage gatherer. Guest can share in sampling typical 12th century foods. This event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required. Recommended ages 6 and up.
