Lecture by Professor Noel Smith

Algaze’s dramatic images of Cuba — focusing on its urban landscapes and the people that inhabit them — lead us on a deeply individual and meditative exploration of the artist’s native land.

Noel Smith is Curator of Latin American and Caribbean Art at the USF Institute for Research in Art: Contemporary Art Museum and Graphicstudio. She has been working with the arts and artists of Cuba for over a decade and is a frequent visitor to the Island.
