Join Professor Philip Levy of the USF History Department for an insightful lecture on photography during the Civil War era. Not only was the Civil War a turning point in American history, it was also a time of great changes in the methods used in photography. Prof. Levy will discuss the transition from daguerreotypes to ambrotypes to tin types and the advent of commercial photography.
