(Tampa, Florida- March 13, 2013) Companies are hiring! Area employers will be available to talk to potential employees at the 2013 Hillsborough County NAACP “ Diverse Employment Job Fair” being held on June 14th, and 15th at Middleton High School in Tampa, Florida. The NAACP is planning on having at least 100 corporate and small businesses filling the auditorium with the intent of offering skilled and un-skilled entry level professional jobs for individuals seeking employment and career changes.
To encourage the participation of job seekers, the NAACP is assisting with Resume Writing and Career Guidance. The NAACP has also partnered with “Dress for Success” and the Corporation to Develop Communities of Tampa (CDC of Tampa Inc.) and University Area Community Development Corporation, Work Out Time, and other entities to provide free business attire for those who qualify.
The Hillsborough County NAACP is currently seeking Corporate Sponsors and potential Employers including; HR Companies, Hospitals, Fast Food Restaurants, Hotels and Resorts, Financial Institutions, Higher Education Schools and more. The greatest advantage for employer participation is having the ability to interview face to face with candidates during the event.
The Mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.
