Schiavo Case Inspires Author

Bill Colby is an attorney and senior fellow with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. He has written two books. The most recent is 'Unplugged: Reclaiming Our Right to Die in America.'

Colby says questions people asked him about the Terri Schiavo inspired him to write the book. After Schiavo became incapacitated, her care became the center of a very public legal battle between her parents and husband.

WUSF's Valerie Ingram spoke with Colby this week at a Hillsborough Community College forum on end-of-life issues.
