This week Florida Stories features Maura Barrios and Yadira Caro.

Yadiro Caro, a reporter with the Spanish-language newspaper CENTRO Mi Diario, interviews West Tampa native Maura Barrios about her life growing up in a Cuban-American neighborhood with a strong sense of community and how it has evolved over time.

Barrios leads today's efforts to preserve Tampa's older Latin neighborhoods.
