Florida Stories - Astoria and Andrew Nickerson

Listen in as Astoria Nickerson, a successful college graduate, wife and mother, tells her son Andrew about her pregnancy and his birth nine years ago when she was a pregnant teenager living all alone far from home. Andrew, now a proud big brother and thriving grade schooler, listens intently to how they survived together. His mom gives back to the community today by serving as a member of the board of directors at Alpha House of Tampa, the home for pregnant and parenting women in crisis that took her in and helped her get back on her feet after Andrew's birth.
