Voters Happy with Crist, So Far
In office less than a month and Governor Charlie Crist has an overall approval rating of 69 percent.
BROWN: This is the highest we've ever recorded for governor in Florida, now we've only been doing it since 2004. But, he is better than Jeb Bush ever was in terms of popularity.
Peter Brown is assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll which survey more than 1000 registered Florida voters via telephone last week. Among the findings, 66 percent of Democrats approve of the Republican governor's job performance.
BROWN: The real interesting thing is not that his job approval rating is so high is that his job disapproval is so low.
The poll showed only a 6% overall disapproval rating of Crist. The survey has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
