Floridians Tackle Climate Change

TAMPA -
Tuesday night, the Climate Change Advisory Group of the Florida Energy Commission was in town to hear public comment and expert testimony.
Florida lawmakers created the Energy Commission last year and gave the appointed panel two missions: develop a state climate action plan and an overall energy policy.
Dr. Todd Sack, a Jacksonville physician, is on the commission and leads its climate change advisory group.
He says long term, Floridians need to change how they use energy. Short term, he says the advisory group will give the legislature 20 actions to take.
