Imagining Visions of Bay Area's Future

New developments strung out like pearls alongside new rail lines and new expressways. Preserved natural areas connected with greenways. And more development in core cities, such as Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota.

Those were some of the common themes aired Friday during an exercise called Reality Check Tampa Bay. It was organized by several private businesses and nonprofit groups, who are concerned about the area's future direction.
