ST. PETERSBURG -
This Sunday, the Studio@620 in downtown St. Petersburg will be moving to a Brazilian beat. It's the site for second annual Brasil Arts Festival. Organizers promise live music, Brazilian food and a demonstration of capoeira, a Brazilian form of rhythmic martial arts.
Students from Capoeira Volta Ao Mundo in North Tampa will demonstrate their form of the acrobatic martial art. Their fluid movements are dance-like and are practiced to singing along with music from a tambourine and a tall drum and the berimbao, a one-stringed hammered instrument.
