Florida Energy Summit at USF

TAMPA -
The Florida Energy Security Summit will be held Wednesday at the University of South Florida in Tampa. The idea is to get state officials together with private energy producers to brainstorm ways of lessening our dependence on imported oil.
The objective of the summit is to get government and private industry such as electric companies on the same page, when it comes to keeping the state's energy supply humming far into the future.
That future could include clean energy, such as solar, biofuels, hydrogen, and clean coal technologies - or even nuclear power.
