Airport Searches Take Off

TAMPA -
The order came down from the Department of Homeland Security to beef up security at all airports. At Tampa International, that means more security officers, more canine units - and random car inspections. Some people are being pulled over on the airport approach road.
Airport spokeswoman Brenda Geoghagan says the number of random inspections will vary from day to day. She says these delays mean passengers on domestic flights should show up two hours early;' and people on international routes should be at the airport three hours before their flight.
