SARASOTA -
The new museum will be placed inside an old Sarasota High School, which was built in 1926. The ornate exterior of the Gothic-style building will be renovated, and the interior turned into gallery spaces and classrooms.
Javier Suarez of the ADP group is the chief architect for the new museum. He says the the new design would be respectful of the existing building.
