Deputy Laid to Rest

TAMPA -

He coached little league football, lavished attention on his shiny black Corvette and had a passion for educating people on the dangers of driving drunk. Ronald Harrison's 27-year career ended last week, when he was gunned down in his patrol car in Brandon.

Harrison leaves behind three daughters - one of whom works as a Hillsborough detention deputy - a son and three grandchildren.
