Chris Kahl

With a fistful of cover songs, Chris Kahl went to London hoping to be a musician. After spending some time in the Underground, he came home with his own songs about his native state. Chris spoke with WUSF's Bethany Cagle in this artist feature. The Florida Humanities Council is sponsoring his tour. Chris Kahl is a self described Florida Troubadour, continuing a long tradition of folk singing in the state. Chris dropped by shortly before a show in St. Petersburg.
