Light Rail, Bus Plan Unveiled

There would be heavy-duty commuter rail stretching from New Tampa and USF to downtown, and over the Howard Frankland Bridge to St. Petersburg. And smaller trains would ferry commuters from Brandon, to the Tampa airport and on to Westchase and northern Pinellas. Express buses would connect train stations to farther-flung locales.

Of course, there has to be a way to pay for all of this. That would mean some kind of tax.
