Climate Change and Cleaner Energy

It's called the Governor's Action Team on Energy and Climate Change. Their topics during the two-day meeting included recomending that power companies use cleaner fuels and having market-based cap and trade programs on carbon emissions.

Florida is looking for partnerships with nearby states in order to make a bigger impact. The group is expected to come up with a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 80 percent of the 1990 levels by 2050.
