PLANT CITY -
This is the first of a three-part series on the intersection of race, immigration, and crime in Plant City.
The town has seen an increase in black-on-Latino violence. Many residents blame drugs for most of the problems. Some community activists say crime has often gone unreported, but a turning point came in October 2006, with the death of Plant City resident Jose Anaya.
