Al-Arian Faces Grand Jury

Attorneys for Sami Al-Arian say the government is once again asking him to testify in a grand jury investigation into supposed terrorist activities in the U.S.

Federal prosecutors in Virginia - where Al-Arian is currently being held - presented him a court order that grants Al-Arian immunity from prosecution if he testifies. But the ousted professor has repeatedly refused to testify in the past, leaving him open to a contempt-of-court charge - and possibly more prison time.
