Cable Access Woes

TAMPA -
They call themselves the Florida Media Coalition. It's made up of groups ranging from the Tampa Bay Community Network to the Education Channel to the University of Florida Media Project.
They're starting a grassroots effort to overturn provisions Florida's Consumer Choice Act of 2007. The law allows public, educational and government access cable TV channels to be dropped unless a majority of subscibers vote to keep them on the lineup.
