Robert Ballard Q & A
Robert Ballard is an oceanographer who gained fame for his discovery of the wreck of the Titanic. He's also discovered the German battleship Bismarck and the sunken aircraft carrier USS Yorktown in 1998. Most recently he discovered the wreck of John F. Kennedy's PT-109 in 2003. Ballard spoke last night at the Coastal Cities Summit in St. Pete Beach. He spoke with WUSF's Steve Newborn about the future of the oceans and exploration.
