Catching up with Joshua Bell
Violinist Joshua Bell has been on the world stage since he played with the Philadelphia Orchestra in 1981 at the age of fourteen. Bell is a new father and is stretching into new realms of music, including more conducting and teaching when he can. Bell's latest recording is 'The Four Seasons' by Vivaldi. He performs tonight with pianist Jeremy Denk at Ruth Eckerd Hall. WUSF's Susan Giles Wantuck spoke to him.
