Inauguration Poem

Tampa Poet Laureate James Tokley has read for the inaugural ceremonies of mayors Dick Greco and Pam Iorio and also for the inauguration of Governor Charlie Crist. He submitted a poem for the Obama inauguration which he calls it a gift to the new president from Tampa and the state of Florida. In writing it, Tokley said he tried to speak to the expansiveness of the American spirit, but also to the world. It's called 'Tis Now the Coming Age.'
