St. Pete MOFA shows off Durer
A museum in Darmstadt, Germany gave The St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts the opportunity to display more than 100 prints by Albrecht Durer. The artist is best known as a printmaker, but he was also a scholar and painter. Even if you don't know his name, you've probably seen his creations such as "Apocalypse" and "Knight, Death and the Devil" in books or online. The exhibition "Albrecht Durer: Art in Transition" runs through Easter. WUSF's Susan Giles Wantuck reports.
