TAMPA -

(2009-11-06) This week we bring you the sounds of University of South Florida students spraying graffiti on a wall outside the Marshall Student Center.

This was no act of rebellious youth and the wall is just some paper on wood stands. The students are honoring a historic event that occurred before their birth - the destruction of the Berlin Wall.

It's part of Germany's "Freedom without Walls" celebration to mark the fall of the Berlin Wall 20 years ago this month.

Berlin Wall
Students at the University of South Florida commemorate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and reflect upon how this day in history changed their views on the world. Germany partnered with USF for the "Freedom without Walls" event. Students and faculty spray paint graffiti on a makeshift Berlin Wall to pay tribute to this day in history.
