The oil spill in the Gulf continues to get closer to Florida's beaches, and the first ones to be affected would be on places like Perdido Key, oustide Pensacola near the Alabama border.

That's where WUSF's Marc Haze spoke with WUSF's Susan Giles Wantuck.

The big oil spill in the Gulf threatens the livelihood of people who live here and some say it's already staining the region's reputation with tourists.
