Two Florida Beaches Make Top 10 List, Even With Oil Spill

Stephen Leatherman, also known as "Dr. Beach", has included two Florida beaches in his annual top ten beaches in the country -- but the BP oil blowout led him to exclude Florida Panhandle beaches.
Knowing what he knows now, he says he would reconsider.
"Actually, not a bit of oil has come ashore there, and we're feeling much better about it. We don't see any real weather patterns to push it there, the only wild card, of course, the hurricanes," he said.
The two Florida beaches on the list are Siesta Beach in Sarasota at number two, and Cape Florida State Park in Key Biscayne, Florida at number ten.
Since they've already been named number one in previous years, Fort De Soto and Caladesi Island have been retired from contention.
