Predergast Wants to Cut Spending, Repeal Health Bill

TAMPA (2010-11-01) -

Many of Florida's Congressional races have received a lot of attention nationally -- but one that's been largely ignored is the 11th District, which includes much of the city of Tampa as well as parts of St. Petersburg and Bradenton.

Incumbent Kathy Castor is expected to cruise to re-election in this heavily Democratic district. But Republican Mike Prendergast says taking her on was an easy decision, because of her stances on spending and support for the health care bill.
