Christmas Stopping at Gorilla Theatre

It's been called the most wonderful time of the year, but Playwright James Rayfield says Christmas isn't always easy. He spoke to WUSF's Susan Giles Wantuck about his new play, Christmas Stopping.
Tampa (2010-11-12) -

Take a psychiatrist who wants to curtail Christmas and a family that doesn't necessarily agree with him and you have a recipe for comedy and mayhem looking at the season of giving.

WUSF's Susan Giles Wantuck spoke with Playwright James Rayfield about his new play, Christmas Stopping, and his work with the woman many call the grandmother of improvisational theater.

He says although it is about Christmas, it is not a play for children. Rayfield is Artistic Director of Gorilla Theatre's Young Dramatists' Project.

Christmas Stopping opens at Gorilla Theatre November 18th. For details,
